Hey guys. I'm new at matlab and I can't figure out how to make external temperature not constant but as a function. I wanted to use pde toolbox, I choose parabolic type. My external temperature should be diurnal variations so something like this: Ta=Tas+dTa*cos(wt). Can I put it in pde somehow? To be clear: my assignment is to make model of cable, which will be outside and heat transfer from air to the cable core. What exactly should I put in pde and boundary conditions, because I afraid I’m doing something wrong. Thanks for your help!
