Capturin stderr output from RuntimeChecks with coder-generated dll called from matlab

I have a dll that I'm building on Windows7 64 from Matlab 2015b. I'm testing it by calling it from Matlab via a Mex interface. The DLL runs when I compile it without RuntimeChecks, but crashes (causing Matlab to abort) when RuntimeChecks is enabled. I strongly suspect that RuntimeChecks is spotting that something has gone wrong, but the associated error message isn't going anywhere. So, I know something is wrong, but I have no way of finding out what. How do I capture the output that the RuntimeChecks is (probably) writing to stderr before aborting?
