I really want to know if it is possible to define ex. >0.5 in matlab as >0.5 and not 0.5 when I import data.
Thanks!

Not in a pure numeric array: pure numeric arrays have no way of storing the '>'.
What would be possible is to add a column to the array and set the column to 1 to indicate that the other column was greater than 0.5.

I understand, thank you. Some numbers in my column contain number <0.5 and would it be possible to define it as random number(normal distributed) between 0-0.5?

No, normal distribution is always infinite range in both directions. It gets computationally messy to work with truncated normal distributions, at least if you care about mathematical accuracy.
