In this position, you will strategically engage with major customers in the application of Model-Based Design and Production Code Generation using tools like System Composer, AUTOSAR Blockset, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink Coder and Embedded Coder. You will collect requirements, recommend technical approaches and workflows using the existing products, and provide customized solutions. A special focus is on software architecture and automatic code generation, application of industry standards for embedded software development, validation and verification. This position leverages a unique combination of skills involving customer-facing activities, software engineering and industry domain expertise.

Mission

  • Generate interest, confidence and passion for usage of Model-Based Design and code generation in complex production deployments integrated in Software factories.
  • Work directly with selected customers to provide technical assistance and to establish deployment strategies for Software Architecture modeling, Model-Based Design and Embedded Coder.
  • Manage requirements and work with other development engineers to implement required features or determine how to most effectively use existing features.
  • Understand customer workflows and industry domain standards to provide technical advice on how to realize them with MathWorks tools.
  • Develop focused product extensions to address specific customer needs.
  • Periodic travel for customer presentation, planning discussions and on-site technical meetings is required (up to 20%).
  • Work closely with sales teams and other customer-facing staff focused on a fast paced and continually evolving strategy for successful adoption of tools for deployments.

Qualifications minimales

  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in France.
  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

Qualifications supplémentaires

  • Strong C/C++ programming skills for microcontrollers, processors, DSPs or similar.
  • Experience with using Simulink, Stateflow and code generation tools for software development. 
  • Experience with Services Oriented Architecture (SoA), distributed software architecture, AUTOSAR Classic and Adaptive.
  • Experience with development workflows for Embedded Systems and Code Generation. 
  • Strong desire and ability to work with customers and turn their needs into actionable plans leading to the successful deployment of MathWorks solutions
  • Basic knowledge in industry standards (e.g. MISRA-C, CERT-C, AUTOSAR, ISO SAE 21434, ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.) and engineering models (e.g. V-Model, SCRUM, TDD, ASPICE, CMMI, etc.) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in communication bus protocol (CAN, Automotive Ethernet, DDS) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge in Rust programming language is a plus.
  • Basic experience in tools (e.g. Jira, Bamboo, Kubernetes, Gerrit, Git, SVN, DOORS, Jenkins, SCADE, Polyspace, QA-C, Lint, VectorCast, LDRA, etc.) is a plus.
  • Business fluent language skills in French and English.
