Description

Specify the CAN identifier used by the CAN node to send response or status messages to the host computer.

Dependencies

To enable this parameter, set Communication interface to CAN and Connectivity interface parameter to CAN (MCANx). The value of x depends on the Device Series parameter value.

Settings

3 (default)

For standard (11‑bit) CAN identifiers, specify a value from 0 to 2047. For extended (29‑bit) CAN identifiers, specify a value from 0 to 536870911.

Tips

For XCP-based external mode simulation over CAN, CAN ID response parameter value must be distinct from the value specified for the Identifier parameter of the MCAN Transmit block.
