Note

The Device Series selected in the Configuration Parameters window must match the hardware board connected for deploying the application model. To change the Device Series, press Ctrl+E to open the Configuration Parameters window and navigate to Hardware Implementation > Device Series.

Note

The Renesas RA8 Based hardware boards support only Processor-in-the-Loop (PIL) and Monitor & Tune (External Mode) workflows.

RA Smart Configurator

To configure peripherals, assign pins, and generate initialization code for Renesas RA microcontrollers using a graphical interface. Follow the hardware setup window to download and install.

CMSIS-DSP

To access optimized DSP and mathematical functions for Arm Cortex-M processors. Follow the hardware setup workflow to download and install.

Renesas Flash Programmer

To program and debug firmware onto Renesas microcontrollers for flash memory operations. Follow the hardware setup window to download and install.
