    Syntax

    [az,el] = aoa(raypath)
    [az,el] = aoa(raypath,Units=units)

    Description

    Add-On Required: This feature requires the 3D Scenarios add-on.

    [az,el] = aoa(raypath) returns the azimuth and elevation angles of arrival for each ray path. The angles are with respect to the local frame of the destination actors.

    [az,el] = aoa(raypath,Units=units) specifies the angle units as degrees or radians. By default, the function returns angles in degrees.

    Input Arguments

    Ray paths, specified as an array of RayPath objects

    Angle units, specified as "degrees" or "radians".

    Output Arguments

    Azimuth angles of arrival, returned as an array of the same size as raypath. The angles are with respect to the local frame of the destination actors. Azimuth is measured counterclockwise from the forward vector in the plane defined by the forward and right vectors.

    Elevation angles of arrival, returned as an array of the same size as raypath. The angles are with respect to the local frame of the destination actors. Elevation is measured from the azimuth plane, where positive values indicate the direction of the local frame up vector.
