    Syntax

    translate(actr,offset)

    Description

    Add-On Required: This feature requires the 3D Scenarios add-on.

    translate(actr,offset) moves the actor by the specified offset in the body frame of the actor. To translate an actor, the Behavior property of the actor must be empty and the SimulationStatus property of the associated Scenario object must be "notstarted".

    Input Arguments

    Actor, specified as an m-by-1 vector of Actor objects, where m is the number of actors.

    Position offset, in meters, specified as one of these options:

    • An m-by-2 matrix. Each row of the matrix specifies the xy-coordinates of the offset in the body frame of the actor.

    • An m-by-3 matrix. Each row of the matrix specifies the xyz-coordinates of the offset in the body frame of the actor.

    If the matrix has one row, then the offset applies to all the actors. If the matrix has multiple rows, then the number of rows must match the number of actors.
