Manage Server Instance Using Admin Portal

After you create a MATLAB^® Production Server™ instance and Set Up and Log In to MATLAB Production Server Admin Portal, you can manage the server from the interface. For example, you can edit the configuration of the server, verify the server status, and restart and stop the server.

Edit Server Instance Configuration

To edit a server instance configuration, follow these steps.

1. Select the Configuration tab.

2. Edit the values for configuration settings. For more information, see Server Configuration Properties.

3. Click Save.

4. Restart the server instance.

Configuration changes do not take effect until the server instance is restarted.

Verify Server Instance Status

You can verify the status of a server instance from either the navigation tree or from the overview page of that server instance.

1. Select the Overview tab.

2. Verify the color of the icon representing the instance.

   • A green icon specifies that the server instance is running.

   • A gray icon specifies that the server instance is stopped.

1. Select the Overview tab.

2. Verify the status displayed on the top of the page. A running server displays the status RUNNING.

Restart Server Instance

You can restart a server instance from either the server information page or from the page of that server instance.

2. Click the dark gray circle restart button in the Actions column.

Stop Server Instance

You can stop a server instance from either the server information page or from the page of that server instance.

2. Click the orange square stop button in the Actions column.
