CAN bus speed
R2026bCAN bus speed for host-side communication during XCP on CAN external mode
Since R2026b
Model Configuration Pane: Hardware Implementation / Hardware board settings / Target hardware resources / Groups / Host-board connection
Description
This read-only parameter specifies the baud rate for the host-side CAN hardware during XCP on CAN external mode communication. This value must match the baud rate configured on the host CAN interface to establish communication.
Dependencies
To enable this parameter:
Set Hardware board to one of these boards:
Arduino® DueArduino Uno R4 Wi-Fi®Arduino Uno R4 MinimaArduino Nano R4Teensy 4.0 (Arduino compatible)Teensy 4.1 (Arduino compatible)
Set Communication interface to
XCP on CAN.Set Host interface to
Simulink. This parameter automatically synchronizes with the CAN Bus Speed (kBits/s) of the selected on-board CAN module. When you change the CAN module or update the bus speed in the onboard CAN module properties, this parameter updates automatically to maintain consistency.
Settings
The value is displayed in kbit/s and is read from the on-board CAN module configuration. Supported bus speeds depend on the selected hardware board and CAN module.
Common bus speed values: 5, 10, 20, 40, 50, 80, 125, 200, 250, 500, 1000 kbit/s.
