Create a Digital Read Block

Create a Digital Read block that reads the value of GPIO pins when the Simulink^® model is deployed to the Raspberry Pi^® board.

Prerequisite

Ensure to install the latest version of WiringPi library on the operating system of your Raspberry Pi board. To install the library, open the Raspberry Pi terminal and run this command: sudo apt install wiringpi

To create a Digital Read block, complete these tasks:

1. Create a Project Folder

2. Write the Hardware Specific C/C++ Code

3. Select System Object Template

4. Specify the Initialization, Output, and Termination

5. Set Output Port Properties

6. Test System Object
