Configure decimation factor in channel of ADC tile

Description

configureADCChannel(rfDataConverter,tileId,channelId,decimationFactor) configures the decimation mode of a given channel in a given ADC tile. The decimation factor sets the number of decimation filters applied to the input data, with each filter contributing a downsampling of the input signal and additional nonideal filter effects. configureADCChannel(rfDataConverter,tileId,channelId,decimationFactor,Name,Value) specifies options using one or more name-value arguments.

Input Arguments

RF data converter, specified as an soc.RFDataConverter object. Via Ethernet, this object connects the host computer to the RF data converter on the connected SoC device. Use the object functions and properties of this object to configure the RF data converter.

ID of the RF-ADC tile connected to the programmable logic, specified as 0, 1, 2, or 3. Available options for the RF-ADC tile ID vary as per the specified RFSoC device. A tile contains several ADCs, accessible as channels, and several shared timing units, including a clock and PLL.

Channel ID for the selected ADC tile, specified as 0, 1, 2, or 3. Available options for the channel ID vary as per the specified RFSoC device.

Decimation factor used in the ADC, specified as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, or 40.

Note

Gen 1 and Gen 2 devices support decimation factors of 1, 2, 4, and 8. Gen 3 devices support decimation factors of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24, and 40.

Name-Value Arguments

Specify optional pairs of arguments as Name1=Value1,...,NameN=ValueN, where Name is the argument name and Value is the corresponding value. Name-value arguments must appear after other arguments, but the order of the pairs does not matter.

Before R2021a, use commas to separate each name and value, and enclose Name in quotes.

Example: 'NyquistZone','2' specifies an even channel Nyquist zone.

Channel Nyquist zone, specified as one of these values:

  • '1' — Channel Nyquist zone is odd

  • '2' — Channel Nyquist zone is even

Calibration mode, specified as one of these values:

  • '1' — Change calibration mode to Mode 1.

  • '2' — Change calibration mode to Mode 2.
