Making Hi-Res MPEG4 Movies from Matlab Movies

With the R2014b release, Matlab's graphics got a great deal sharper. This applies to movies made in matlab. But can anyone figure out how to convert a matlab movie into a mpeg4 movie without a dramatic decrease in resolution?
