A copying figure bug: dark pixel in the left bottom corner of a figure

When I use the function Copy Figure to insert a figure into Word, from time to time I have a dark pixel in the left bottom cornner of the figure.

Without exact steps it will be difficult to reproduce your issue. Can you provide the exact MATLAB functions you're using? Also, how did you make sure this isn't a visualization artefact from word? You can extract the actual image by renaming your document to .zip and looking through the contents.

My exact steps are following:

1. I click 'Edit' -> 'Copy figure' in the main figure menu.
2. Paste into a Word document or any other progam.

It's definitely not a word artefact, because it remains if I insert it in any program, e.g. an image viewer like IrfanView. Word was just an example.

I'm not able to reproduce this on my copy of R2020a (pasting to paint). Did you change any options? Mine appear to be set to 'preserve information' and 'transparent background'.

I can't reproduce this bug anytime. It apears occasionally. Sometimes it helps if I move a figure to another point of a screen. Often it helps if I resize it on the screen (with a mouse) before copying...

If you don't have reproduction steps for me, I can't test it. If I can't test it, I can't figure out what the source of the problem is.

You might want to try different methods to store your figures as image (saveas or export_fig (from the file exchange)).
