Creating a 2 link robot arm on a single plane

I need to create a model of a 2DOF planar robot with 2 link operating on the horizantal plane.
I cannot find simple examples to follow.

@bart chimbwanda, are you looking for a very pure mathematical model that describes the motion of 2-link robotic arm so that you can later create some algorithms to manipulate it?
Or just some computer-aided design 3D model for display purposes?
