Workspace doesn't show varaibles in MATLAB online

I am working in Matalab online with a normal script, it is not a function and the workspace is not showing me any of my variables.

Can you share a picture of your session?

I haven't been able to duplicate the behavior. Try logging out and logging back in. If it continues, try restarting your browser, and also try in a different browser.

I got similar problem. Tried Matlab online and no variable shown even with most basic script!

Sometimes it will refresh if you close the workspace browser panel and open it back up, but sometimes doing so will fail to open the panel correctly and the whole sidebar customization functionality ends up getting broken in strange ways. It's not always the workspace browser either. Sometimes the Files panel doesn't load or doesn't update or doesn't respond to mouse inputs. Sometimes the session will get stuck permanently in a "Busy" state until restarted.

I've only used MATLAB Online for probably less than a dozen hours in total, but I've had this happen several times on this computer and others, in both Firefox and Chrome. The only commonality and the likely cause is a poor network connection, either due to load on my slow DSL at home, or issues at the fringe of a wireless LAN.

I haven't bothered troubleshooting beyond that, since being resource-intensive and fragile is completely expected of a web app. If you're on wifi or have a <10Mb/s connection with high or significantly variable latency, that might be why it's acting up.
