How to keep the details pane focused on the file currently being edited

The Details pane, under the Current Folder pane on the Matlab desktop, provides a useful overview of the contents of the current file as described here.

Is there a way of keeping the Details pane focused on the file currently being edited. For example, when you switch to a different tab in the editor, the file which the Detail pane is displaying information for also updates.

Reason for asking... Navigating round the functions in a file using the Go To button in the editor ribbon is tedious.
