"no healthy upstream" error when trying to access My Account

Hello,

I am trying to access My Account in the Mathworks webpage to download the license to use MATLAB 2024b. However, I keep encountering the following error:

"no healthy upstream"

I already tried changing web browsers and constantly refreshing the webpage.

Is there an alternative way to download the license? Should I just wait?

I'm having the same issues wht "no healthy upstream".... since last week around the time the original poster posted. Today is the 27th and still not fixed. Any status on what is wrong?

Need to find out, so I can determine if it is my domain or just the mathworks servers are down.

"MathWorks experienced a ransomware attack. We have notified federal law enforcement of this matter. The attack affected our IT systems. Some of our online applications used by customers became unavailable, and certain internal systems used by staff became unavailable, beginning on Sunday, May 18. We have brought many of these systems back online and are continuing to bring other systems back online with the assistance of cybersecurity experts."

Despite it saying there is an outage with Answers, it seems to be working now.

Try clearing your browser cache and try again. Under Firefox it's in the upper right hamburger menu, then History and Clear Recent History.

At the moment, "My Account" remains unreachable, currently giving an error

upstream connect error or disconnect/reset before headers. reset reason: connection termination

I am sure that Mathworks is working as quickly as it can to restore functionality.

It is not a browser problem. it is Matlab. When I start it, It asks me to sign-in (I don't know why), and when I press "Forgot password?" I get this "no healthy upstream". I haven't been able to use Matlab for days.

It is not just you. Mathworks recently had a ransomware attack, and is still putting system back together properly. They are working as fast as is feasible.

MATLAB probably goes over the internet to check your license and the license center at the Mathworks is still "degraded" at the moment.

I understand that MATLAB probably goes over the internet to check my license. But it used to work without internet connection. Not any more. So I am wondering if the attack concerns only the Mathworks, or if it also affected users' computers after they checked the license over the internet.
