How do I increase the fontsize used to display text in the Copilot Chat window of the Matlab IDE?

I'm using R2026a. Been searching but apparently "there is no way to change the font size specifically in the MATLAB Copilot Chat panel in R2026a through any setting". Kind of surprising. Saw some documentation that in Simulink there is a zoom in/out button on the Copilot Chat window. But not Matlab apparently. If others are finding this to be the case it seems like a suitable feature request...

Hello,

You cannot currently change the font size specifically for the Copilot Chat panel in the MATLAB IDE.

The official Copilot settings allow configuration of features, but no font-size option is listed at change matlab copilot settings window.

Workarounds

• Increase overall MATLAB UI zoom (affects everything, not just chat) Zoom and Change Desktop Fonts - MATLAB & Simulink
