How do I access all the advanced printer settings in Matlab 2026a?

How do I access all the advanced settings of a printer in 2026a? The dialog box only gives me a small subset. I had no issues accessing these settings in 2024a

Undoubtedly a result of the new UI switchover. Submit this to Mathworks as an official support/eenhancement request at <Product Support Page>. They may be able to supply a workaround, but I'd suspect it's what it is until an update that can incorporate the additional API calls to get to the extended dialog menus.

The workaround may be to open the printer object in the OS and set the desired configuration there before trying to print from MATLAB. Hopefully, it will honor those other settings. This may not be at all convenient, granted, but other than writing a mex function that does call the OS API, don't see what else could do unless the printer vendor has an tool that could be used in a batch mode that a script for could be executed.

Thanks for the answer. I put in a ticket, we shall see how it goes. Seems like they really screwed some stuff up in 2025, which is why I was still using 2024. I was hoping they would have sorted this new user interface out better by 2026

It was gigantic effort/rewrite and clearly wasn't really ready for general release but marketing and internal development resources probably forced a date-based over technical-based decision. I suspect it will be another 3-4 years before it really stabilizes and includes many of the previously existing features that were either redesigned away or just not moved over.
