How to solve "Undefined function or method 'wait' for input arguments of type 'daq.digit​alio_mcc_1​_17'."?

I'm using the device minilab1008 (device ID is "mcc"). I'm trying to use the wait funtion in the format "wait(obj, waittime)" to pause for some time between two successive commands， e.g. wait(dio, 30). But however the above error came out and reminded me of something like wait(uddobjs, waittime). I have no idea about how to solve this. Any help on this will be very appreciated!!
