Mathworks, what are the equations for the Fuel Consumption model by speed and torque? The equations for the Speed and Torque Vectors and the Fuel consumption table? What parameters do these equations depend on?
I want to attempt to optimize the block for a project. I need this info.
Thanks Daniel

Fuel consumption is generally based on real life tables. They are measured and then converted into data. Mathworks probably used this data to fill in the array for the fuel consumption. The equations used are simple: current FC rate * delta time (difference/amount of time that the same FC rate can be applied for) This is then integrated to get a total amount of fuel consumption..
I hope you have use for this rough explanation.

Thanks Steven, unfortunately this is not useful.

You should probably send this question to Technical Support using the "Contact Us" link in the upper-right corner of this page.

yes problem is I only have a student license, they wont talk to me. The company I work for pays Mathworks millions of dollars in license fees, but I don't know if using a work license is appropriate here.
Super frustrating.
