Ive been looking for so long for some kind of Matlab or Simulink desktop wallpaper for my Matlab computer, with resolution of at least 1920x1080. It's so difficult and I dont think MathWorks ever thought about releasing some of them? All i find are small images, Matlab logos etc. but no real wallpapers.

For Matlab it could be something as simple as just the logo in high resolution, on some nice background, not just plain colour but maybe subtle pattern or maybe some kind of math equations in background or faded image of Matlab code and a "MATLAB" written somewhere in corner.
For Simulink its harder because i dont think Simulink has any official logo or anything like that. Nevertheless it could be something like creatively arranged Simulink blocks - maybe blocks forming a tree that starts at top as Simulink blocks and the closer to the root the more it turns into a PCB-like thing as Software -> Hardware transition, on a background with a "Simulink" written somewhere in corner.

This would make the most spectacular wallpaper (although one might not get much work done): https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/25086-extrude-a-ribbon-tube-and-fly-through-it-

Mathworks even made a tutorial for how to make the Matlab logo. You can export this at as high a resolution as you please.

What about using the logo created by (link provided by Image Analyst):
openExample('matlab_featured/MatlabLogoExample')
in low resolution with tiling:
