Hello
This obviously isn't a huge issue, but it's still bugging me a bit. As you can see in the two cropped screenshots below, the field that shows the position of the cursor within the editor doesn't always show the full info. Single digit column numbers still display fine, but 10 and up are being replaced by "...". I tried changing the font size, but the field isn't affected at all.
I suspect this has something to do with me working on a high DPI screen (a Surface Pro 4), but of course I don't really know.

My case is even worse with "Ln... Col..."

I never noticed since I run the editor docked, but this definitely happens for me in R2019b/linux. Doesn't seem to be an issue in R2015b though. I guess turning on line numbers at least gives you half the information.

like always, matlab has no answer. Do universities pay for this service? They can't fix a simple problem on their end. This is insane.

I experience this issue occasionally, but I know how to fix it. For me, the issue is that I start MATLAB with one display configuration (say docked into a setup with 2 large monitors) but then use MATLAB in another configuration (say directly on my little laptop screen). The issues is that MATLAB does not reevaluate the display settings, and little issues like this start to crop up.
The fix is to power cycle MATLAB. When I close MATLAB and then re-open in the display environment in which I am going to work, the cursor line and column become properly displayed again. Not sure if this the same problem others are having, but this 100% fixed the problem for me.

At least for me, this doesn't change the behavior. I only ever open Matlab on one workspace attached to a particular display. If I undock the editor, shut down and restart ML, the editor opens undocked with the last geometry and with cursor position numbers still cut off. There may be a number of different causes which effect the behavior.
