Image processing handling camera temperature flucturations

Hi, I guess this is more of a question about image processing. I am taking pictures with a CCD camera in the lab and then analysing the image of a laser lobe with MATLAB. With the image I integrate the intensity over a certain areas. I have noticed however, that the cameras temperature changes from time to time (days to days and even during the day) and this seems to affects the result when measuring at different times. Currently I am only taking one picture per distances and a background picture at the end of the series of measurement. I plan to automate some of these steps which are for now manual.
Can anyone give me any hints of how to circumvent the effects of cameras temperature (or perhaps background noise changes) flucturations. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi
As the temperature of the camera introduces some noise into the images randomly, it may not be easy for us to free the image of its effects completely.
Perhaps you could try some image noise reduction techniques which could help.
Another approach would be to use a constant temperature chamber for your experiment to obtain better results.
