Hi,
When I type 'help functionname' into the command window, and make a typo, Matlab will show the help for the functionname with a similar name.
For example, if I type 'help ax', it will show the help for the function 'max'.
Is it possible to disable this feature? Sometimes I make a typo, but help flashes up anyway, and I start reading the documentation for the wrong function and it takes a while before I realise that I actually made typo and the documention is the wrong one.
I.e., I'd like to restore the old behaviour, where 'help ax' simply results in 'ax not found'
Thanks
Bryan

I agree with you. Matlab tries to be smart, but a wrong guess can be more confusing than an error message.
