Promoting MATLAB at the higher edu institution I work for

Dear Mathworks team,

I love MATLAB and later this year i´m gonna give an open motivational seminar on computer programming using MATLAB at the polytechnic institution where I teach:

My aim is to persuade authorities to implement MATLAB courses in several academic programs.

What i´d like to ask you, is if you could provide me the exact number (and name if possible) of academic institutions in Portugal using MATLAB in undergrad programs. If by any chance you could provide similar data concerning the whole world, would be great….I´d like very much to provide those updated numbers and facts during my presentation. Especially those concerning Portugal can be of great importance to convince ISEC-Lisboa to include MATLAB in its curricula ?

If you cannot answer me, could you please provide me a suitable email for this request?

This is not a question you could ask on Answers. Note that we are volunteers, not paid representatives of The MathWorks.

As well, even if we were employees of TMW, AND we had the information you want on hand, we would not be allowed to publish this sort of information, as that would essentially be a measure of product sales.

You can feel free to contact The Mathworks directly, via the Contact Us link on the top right of your browser page. However, you need to know they would simply not be willing to give out what are effectively sales numbers. Just not gonna happen, ever.
