I worked on this but I am unfamiliar with MATLAB. But I wnat to work on this scenario which is extracting text from an image. So can I get the same type of algorithms code for python

I suggest you hire someone to convert MATLAB to Python for you if you can't understand the MATLAB code. The Mathworks consulting group might do it for you - it's worth asking anyway. Click here for Mathworks Consulting
