How I can subtract one signal from another?

I have extracted data from vector network analyzer. which consist of frequency, amplitude and phase. Now I need to substract and devid one signal by another. the data is attached. Any suggestion and help, please.

z=data1-data2.

dividing means

z2=data1/data2.

Here is the matlab coding which I write so for, but I don't think this the write way of substration of two complex signal because I m just substracting one colum.

My comment was an attempt to make you think about the meaning of your question (and make you realise that it doesn't make sense without a proper definition of what you actually mean by subtraction and division for signals).

As you've stated your signals are made of frequency, amplitude and phase. So does subtracting mean subtracting the frequency, subtracting the amplitude, subtracting the phase, all three of them, only two of them?

Same question for division.

I see the charactrization in a paper where they substracted the two data signal and then devid them, I'm following them to obtain the results of my designed tag. I'm attaching that paper . The equation which I'm trying to implement is on page 3. Thanks

In column 1 is frequency from 1 GHz to 2 GHz, In column 2 amplitude in dBs, In column 3 phase.
