change the frequency of a signal and xcorr them

is it possible to change a frequency of a signal.wav ? i need to correlate my two signal , but my signal has a slightly bit different frequency with the other one, so the result (degree of similarity) always in 0.8 or below. is there another trick to correlate my two signals ? I attached one of my sample impulses here (.wav). Thank you in advance. Any response is a big help and i really appreciate all kind of suggestion.
