MATLAB Grader can be integrated into Learning Management Systems like Canvas, Blackboard, and Moodle. Doing so requires a separate license. Contact your MathWorks representative if you would like to request access.
Integration is typically performed by someone with admin privileges on the platform. Platform-specific integration instructions can be found here.
Once MATLAB Grader has been added to your LMS, you can link it to your MATLAB Grader account and copy the problems to your LMS course by following these steps:
  1. Create a new MATLAB Grader problem in your course. LMS-specific instructions can be found here.
  2. Launch the MATLAB Grader problem. You should see a page that says “Add Problem” at the top.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Add Problem page and click on the link that says, “Access your MATLAB Grader (formerly Cody Coursework) problems by linking to your MathWorks Account”. Sign in with the same credentials you use to access your MATLAB Grader course.
  4. A new section called MATLAB Grader Courses and Collections will appear with new tiles representing the content you have stored in MATLAB Grader. Find the tile representing the course you want to copy problems from and click on it.
  5. Browse to the problem you want to copy and click Copy. A separate, stand-alone copy of the problem is then added to your LMS course.
Note that:
  • Step 3 only needs to be done once. It will persist unless you unlink your account.
  • Steps 1-5 need to be repeated for each problem you want to copy.
  • There is no mechanism for copying Course and Assignment Descriptions automatically. If needed, these must be recreated using the tools available in your LMS.
  • Copies are brand new problems. No previous student solutions or analytics will be included.

The credentials are the same as what you use to sign into grader.mathworks.com. If you are getting an error, double check that your email has been entered correctly, and that caps lock is off, and that your keyboard language is set correctly, and that you are using the correct password.
If you continue being unable to log in, you can use the 'Forgot Password' link to recover your account. If you continue to have difficulty, please contact support.
