MATLAB script named cowell_mice.m that demonstrates how to use Cowell’s method to predict the long-term behavior of an Earth orbiting spacecraft subject to non-spherical Earth gravity and lunar and solar point-mass gravity perturbations. This technique numerically integrates the equations of motion subject to the central body gravity and other external forces. This script uses several functions and the DE421 binary ephemeris file from the MICE library distributed by JPL.
