This simple script solves the temperature field of a shaft that is connected to one or two heated bases numerically using Finite Volume Method and plots the temperature curve as a function of the shaft length. User can choose the
- temperature of the bases and air
- length of the shaft
- insulated length of the shaft
- diameter or cross-section area
- heat conductivity
- convection heat transfer coefficient
- number of nodes.
