FailureModelParameters objects represent the parameters of a failure model
in Safety Analysis Manager fault tree document events. Use
FailureModelParameters objects to specify how the failure model calculates the
unavailability and failure frequency at the event.
Creation
To create a FailureModelParameters object, get the Parameters
property of a FailureModel object.
Properties
This property is read-only.
Unavailability of the event, represented as a Parameter
object.

To use this property, set the Type property of the containing
FailureModel object to "constant".

Event frequency, represented as a Parameter object.

Whether the event is active, specified as a numeric or logical 0
(false) or 1 (true), a
string scalar, or character vector.
Use a string scalar or character vector to define the status based on the value of a MATLAB® expression. Use variables defined in the base workspace. If you define an expression, the expression must evaluate to a scalar value of data type logical.
Example: myParams.Active = 1 activates the event.
Example: myParams.Active = "x > 3" activates the event if the base
workspace variable x is greater than
3.

Examples
Create a fault tree document in the Safety Analysis Manager and retrieve
the FaultTree object.
myTreeDoc = safetyAnalysisMgr.newDocument("fault-tree");
myFaultTree = myTreeDoc.FaultTrees(1);Add two basic events to the tree.
myTopGate = myFaultTree.Gates(1); event1 = createEvent(myTopGate); event2 = createEvent(myTopGate);
Retrieve the failure model from event1.
myFailureModel = event1.FailureModel;
Retrieve the failure model parameters.
myFailureParameters = myFailureModel.Parameters;
