Run Model on VEX Microcontroller

You can prepare, configure, and run a model on your VEX^® hardware.

Before starting this procedure:

• Connect your VEX hardware to the host computer using a USB A-A cable.

• Open your model that you have created for VEX hardware.

  For information on how to create a new model with VEX, see Getting Started with VEX Microcontroller Support Package.

To run the model:

1. In your model, select Tools > Run on Target Hardware > Prepare to Run.

2. When the Hardware Implementation pane opens, set the Hardware board parameter to ARM Cortex-based VEX Microcontroller.

3. Click the Deploy to Hardware button.

   

   This action automatically downloads and runs your model on the board.
