MATLAB Mobile connector time out
Afficher commentaires plus anciens
I tried to connect my MATLAB Mobile (at galaxy s3) to my PC. The connector test at my PC works good, but whenever I try to connect to my PC from MATLAB Mobile, it does not succeed and shows "time out" message. How can I fix this problem?

I have the same issue and phone model with MatLab R2014b. I entered the computer connection in a chrome browser on my phone http://<computer_Name>:31415/ or http://xxx.xxx.x.x:31415/ (x's are the IP address) and got the message 'This webpage is not available'. I also tried to setup using the MatLab app on my phone and that times out, too. My wireless router assigns addresses dynamically but that should not have changed since I verified the address using 'IPCONFIG /all'

I am having the same problem. Yesterday I had this working on my wireless network using the IPV4 address assigned by the router via DHCP. I disabled my firewall and everything worked fine. This morning I can't seem to connect. I have tried a few different wireless networks, I have logged out and back into my laptop, and I have restarted the Matlab app on my android phone. Next I will try rebooting both machines.

I have the same issue. I have both MATLAB 2013a and MATLAB 2014b and my phone is galaxy s4. I can't succeed in connecting in neither of them.

I entered the connection http://<IP number>:31415 both in my phone and my computer browser, the page said 'welcome to the connector service'. But when I tried to use mobile phone connect to the MATLAB on my computer, it said 'the request timed out'

I had the same problem and fix that with going to windows firewall and set the MATLAB access as both private and public. Then the problem fixed.

If you are connecting to a supported version of MATLAB, can you try opening the test link (from the connector test) from any browser on your Galaxy S3?

> I tried to open the test link on chrome on my phone, it says webpage is unavailable...................... if you wish to test whether your matlab on computer is listening or not, you need to run chrome browser on your computer.....giving following command.... localhost:31415 If it says connector service is running it means matlab on computer is listening for connections on port 31415. Now you have to connect your mobile to it, by clicking your computer on the "settings" on mobile.

My Chrome doesn't work anymore on my computer and now the Matlab mobile cant connect to connector on this computer. So I am thinking there is the problem.
