Matlab 2014a simulink shows blank diagnostic viewer

Why simulink shows blank diagnostic viewer whitout even the toolbar? When I run the simulation the viewer doesn't pop up but on the bottom of the model it shows the number of errors.

I have the same issue with Matlab 2014a. I am using Simulink Coder with slrt target.
I have a similar issue with Matlab 2014b. The simulation will not run, and I see "View 1 error" at the bottom of the model window, but when I click on it the Diagnostic Viewer appears showing no errors, nor warnings. The toolbar does appear for me, but nothing else.

I'm seeing the same behavior with 2014b. Nothing shows up in Diagnostic Viewer but I do see the toolbar. Anyone find the solution? Kinda hard to figure to why the model doesn't run when it doesn't give you any information.
Got the same problem with 2014b.
I have the same issue using 2014b. Anyone have a solution for this?
I am seeing this same error intermittently on 2014b with mac osx Yosemite. I contacted mathworks support and they are looking into the issue. Hopefully they are able to reproduce the error and provide a bugreport/bugfix.

Hello
I am getting the same problem with 2015a with Mac OS X Yosemite
Gents:
Found the issue, it is related to the localhost, try the following, in a terminal window.
ping localhost
If you fail to ping the localhost, then we can confirm that this is the issue. If that's the case, you need to add localhost ip. Please refer to the following page for the steps:

Hi All, Does anybody found the strong solution for this problem. @Juan, I can even successfully ping my localhost but still there is problem.
Hi, I can't find what you mean with "ping the local host", how do you do that and what does "ping" mean?

Juan Ceballos, your method worked for me too.
In my hosts file there was an entry: 0.0.0.0 localhost
I simply removed it, saved the file, restarted MATLAB and my diagnostic viewer works now.
