How can I store scores in txt file by fprintf?

I am eager to know that how can I store my scores in txt file by fprintf and can I access that file by a variable? Scores should be added as they are entered in a vector? Thanks

since you want it in text format why dont you use dlm write.

If suppose you want to save a particular variable say S use following command

dlmwrite('name of the file.txt',S)
