OPC toolbox need to buy separately?

Does the matlab software includes opc toolbox, or i need to buy it separately.I saw that matlab 2010b includes opc toolbox

OPC toolbox have to be bought separately. It doesn't come with base MATLAB.

ok, thx. 1. and what about opc server? is that also a separated software which needs to be purchased? 2. for matlab, does it have a base,version and a full version? full version contains opc toolbox? my software includes opc toolbox, i don't if it can be used, i will check it out.

I think OPC Server does not come as part of OPC Toolbox. In fact it is an external entity which you need to decide on as to which server you want to use. Coming to your earlier question , base MATLAB refers to only MATLAB Toolbox. OPC Toolbox is separate and will not come as part of the MATLAB as such.
