How do i extract the blood vessel and measure the width of the vessel in the uploaded image??

what do you want to do? explain more....I think you can segment the image and then do this.

as you can see the RED blood vessels in the image, i have to extract any one of them and there by determine the width of the selected vessel. how can i do that?? thanks

I think first you can convert this image to grayScale and then use a good segmentation method to extract vessel. I attache an image for you. but I think you should do this with high accuracy, but search more about this.

but about measure the width I dont know...
