Problem in connecting to PostgreSQL Database (database.​ODBCConnec​tion)

Hi while trying to connect to ODBC connection (without Database toolbox), I am getting this error: " Undefined variable "database" or class "database.ODBCConnection" "

I am using MATLAB Version: 8.2.0.701 (R2013b).

I am using this syntax:

conn = database.ODBCConnection('PostgreSQL','username','pwd');

Can you please suggest if there is any other way to connect to Postgresql database. (without Database toolbox).

Hi Amit,

As mentioned in that link, you need to have the Database Toolbox to connect to the postgresql database. Hope this helps!
