DC Motor Arduino Matlab

Hi, I want to control the speed of a DC Motor using a GUI and Arduino, i have already made the conection between Matlab and Arduino for 2 leds, but i don't know how to do for controlling the speed. Does anyone have an idea? Please! Is for my thesis!

MATLAB Arduino supports the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) mode on various digital pins.
