remove xmlwrite encoding attribute from XML.

Hi,

When using xmlwrite, the genreated xml having :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

but I want to remove this attribute:

Does someone know how to do this?

What benefit do you see in removing the attribute?

Are you asking just to remove that line from the output, or are you asking for a different character encoding to be used?

I just wanted to remove this <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> attribute.

Hi Dipak, Have you figure out a way to do it? I also ran into the same problem. I need to remove this line so that a software can run with the xml. Thanks!
