Representing a set of points on sphere

Hi all,
I have V=(a,b,c,d,e,f) 6 vertices and from these i have a set of suppose 8 networks.Each of these networks are made of 4 vertices randomly selected from V. Now in each of the networks out of the 6 possible connections ( 2 diagonals and 4 on the rectangle) I have only only four connections( two diagonals and two on the rectangle) whereas the other 2 would be left unconnected. I need to represent these networks on a sphere. is there anyway this can be done. Please help. thanks a ton

Hi all , I have plotted the 3D sphere by this code :-
theta=linspace(0,2*pi,40);
phi=linspace(0,pi,40);
[theta,phi]=meshgrid(theta,phi);
rho=1;
x=rho*sin(phi).*cos(theta);
y=rho*sin(phi).*sin(theta);
z=rho*cos(phi);
mesh(x,y,z)
Now suppose i have to plot a quadrilateral (with four points given) on the surface of this sphere then how to do it. ??
