Use of command line to modify Simulink models

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to make use of command line to make changes to the simulink model ? In particular i am interested in finding if it is possible to change name of signals/blocks from command line ?

I tried to find it but in vain. Hope someone can help me with it.

Click on "MATLAB Functions" on this documentation page too see the list of functions that you can use to manipulate the model from the command window.
