How can I add DEM.tif in Matlab?

Hello;

I've done a model to simulate the diffusion of asbestos' fibers in atmosphere.

I want to add a DEM.tif (digital elevation model) that has a coordinate North-East of the computational domain of the model.

I would like that my model simulate the diffusion accounting the morphology of the area, if I specify a point of emission in the domain.
