Is there a function which calculates a POLYFIT and MEAN of vectors in MATLAB 7.11 (R2010b)?

I am working with MATLAB 7.11 (R2010b). In my project I need to linear fit multiple vectors and calculate the mean of them. I would like to know if there is a function which can do this?

I don't think there is a function that does it automatically.. I guess you would need to write a MATLAB script which uses POLYFIT and MEAN to get this done..
