How can i discard half of the fouier transformed (frenquncy domain) components NOT normal image ?

hi all i am doing eigenspectra palmprint recgnition project. So How can i discard half of the fouier transformed(frenquncy domain) components in palmprint recognition. where the size of fouier transformed called (F1) are 128X128 not image. please reply me.
