I want to simulate power grid models in matlab. Observe the change in electrical parameters value with respect to any disturbance and apply my control algorithm to see the effect.

I tried SimPowerSystem Simulink for the same and also have IEEE 30 bus system data available to me but since am too new to power grid simulations, am not able to figure out how to exactly use these information in building my model.
