Pre-Product Partner Application

Instructions: Please complete this application below to submit your commercial product solution (that is more than three months from commercial release and is based on MathWorks tools such as MATLAB and Simulink) for inclusion in the MathWorks Connections Program. The review process can take several weeks and we may contact you during the review process with clarification questions.

If you are approved as a pre-product partner, we will check in on your release status every six months. If you do not provide a status update, you will be removed from the program and lose access to all Connections Program benefits.

Relationship to MathWorks Products

The Connections Program is available to third-party organizations whose products are complementary to the MathWorks product family. Third-party products and their functionality should be distinct and differentiable from those of the MathWorks.

If your product is a MATLAB Toolbox or Simulink Blockset state this explicitly. If your product interfaces to MathWorks products in other ways, you must provide specifics of the APIs used for exchanging data (e.g. COM, S-Functions, IVI instrument drivers, data acquisition adapter kit, etc.)

Development License Requirement

As part of The MathWorks Connections Program Terms and Conditions, you must own and maintain a commercial license of MathWorks products current on our Software Maintenance Service for use in developing and maintaining your Connections Program-approved products or services.


Approved Product and Pre-Product partners receive a 25% discount off the purchase of their development software (limited quantities) to support their Connections Program-approved product. If you do not have a MathWorks license and are ready to order, please contact connections@mathworks.com.
